This whole-home renovation transformed a once-disconnected layout into a serene, light-filled retreat deeply connected to its wooded surroundings. A new primary bath addition and pop-up roof in the living room welcome natural light and treetop views, while floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoors, and the creek below, into daily life. The showstopper of a screened porch with a butterfly roof allows panoramic views of their fabulous terrace garden. Updates, including a new entry deck, foyer storage bench, reconfigured baths, improved HVAC systems, and refreshed finishes, all breathe new life into a much-loved home. A phased approach allowed long-term planning, including converting the lower level into a flexible apartment space. The result is a thoughtful, layered home that supports everyday living and future possibilities.
