DSSOLVR

Durham, NC

2023

DSSOLVR Durham is a bold and imaginative extension of the Asheville-based brewery. Located at the intersection of Corporation and Rigsbee in Durham’s vibrant Central Park district, this 3,000-square-foot taproom offers a bright and welcoming space.
The project was brought to life through a close collaboration between DSSOLVR founders Michael Semenec and Vincent Tursi, as well as ECA's project manager Amanda Isnard. Amanda led the transformation of shell space in the historic Atlas Building into a signature taproom infused with the psychedelic and surreal character that DSSOLVR is known for.
Durham-based Gateway Building Company carried out the project. Together with the owners, ECA and Gateway collaborated with an incredible team of local engineers, fabricators, installers, and muralists to bring the vision to fruition.
